Falling down on the Middle Fork

I hit the Middle Fork of the Willamette River today with my four-weight and a tan caddis. I fished from Black Canyon, down the south bank to the head of Lookout Reservoir. Just above the boat ramp, I hooked two medium fish, didn’t land them. I landed one small fish in a riffle further down. Not much action the rest of the way, and I nearly broke my arm falling on a bunch of rocks.
