The Athiarchists melt my face off

Saw my fist metal show in Eugene last night at John Henry’s. It was a benefit show for the local rollerderby team, the Emerald City Rollergirls. The Athiarchists opened up the show and melted my face off. You don’t get that in Eugene much. The second act, Limosine, was named after a fake hair metal band from HomeStarRunner.com. They played songs about cobras and level nine wizards, but missed the irony of the Nerd Rock they were emulating. They were super-tight, and should probably drop the nerd shtick.
