Oregon Outdoor Journal is back?

My old blog on Blogger was called Oregon Outdoor Journal and I dropped it six months ago to move over to WordPress. WP has cooler templates and tools and better compatibility with my online photo storage Flickr.  And it has been a great move.

But Oregon Outdoor Journal is still kicking ass in the Google Deparment (Maybe because Google owns Blogger) and it seemed like a waste to give up all that Google-Juice. So I decided to take it out of retirement and transform it into an Oregon Outdoors news Blog — short and sweet, posts about hiking, hunting, fishing and conservation across the state. Keep it brief.

The theme of Upstream in Oregon will be unchanged: Random crap about living here in Eugene, Oregon, meticulously handcrafted by me in a caffeine induced fog. But check out what I’m doing on the other site and let me know what you think. I’ll be reformatting it in the next couple days to reflect the new focus.

Why are you still writing about the environment when it’s all going to be ruined within the next twenty-five years?
