Unfortunate incidents with live wild animals

Revising some poems the past month or so, and most come back to some kind of story about killing something I regret. I’m seeing a really weird pattern, and feel like I’ve got a dark cloud of animal ghosts following me around. So I might be taking some time off from my favorite past times and hanging out and writing about fish, rather than sticking them in the face with hooks. Spend a little more time on the water with a camera and notebook. Call me crazy.

One Response to Unfortunate incidents with live wild animals

Crazy! Seriously, tho: I have a really hard time injuring fish if I don’t eat them. I won’t do it all if I’m hunting. I find I prefer stalking the wild things with a cameraphone these days.
